DISENCHANTED

ANIMATED PROJECTION MAPPING

The narrative of Disenchanted follows the spirit of the forest which gets destroyed by the humans and tries to recover itself and also by some attempts of the humans themselves. The bigger idea is about the circle of recurring events and the unavoidable death of humankind for the sake of nature.These circles are subtly shown within the visuals. For the stage I built a set out of natural materials from the forest. During the animation they’re brought back to life and after when I was finished with the project the materials were going back to the forest. So there’s even another  circle of life  in the process of the project. The animation was mainly done in After Effects and some of it in TVPaint.
